Its going to be hard but it must be done. A friend of mine was force to quit smoking recently because of Heart Problems he was having. Here are our top 5 tips.</p>
<p><strong>1. Mentally Prepare.</strong><br />
It all starts in your mind, tell your self (every time you need a smoke) that you do not need a cigarette, it&#8217;s not healthy, it will damage all of your internal organs and that everyone including yourself is going to feel positive effects by quitting smoking today.</p>
<p><strong>2. Don&#8217;t Buy Anymore Cigarettes.</strong><br />
It&#8217;s so easy to pull into a Garage Station or buy a packet of smokes from the Super Market. Refrain from doing that, just walk past that smoke counter and don&#8217;t stop. Don&#8217;t ask your friends for one either, their weak and will give it to you, no, stop, don&#8217;t do that.</p>
<p><strong>3. Get Some Type of Quit Smoking Aide.</strong><br />
Stop smoking aides are marvelous and are there to help. Replace those cigarette chemicals (did you know that there are like 5000 chemicals in 1 cigarette?) with a high nicotine based stop smoking aide. These will help you through the day, calm your mood and satisfy your nicotine cravings.</p>
<p><strong>4. Find Something to Occupy Your Mind.</strong><br />
If you are going cold turkey then you must have something to occupy your mind. Going online, visiting friends, going out and work can all help. Do anything you can, so you don&#8217;t think about smoking.</p>
<p>If you can do the above you should be on your way to quitting smoking. It starts as, one day at a time. If you only smoke 2-4 cigarettes today, but, usually smoke 20 a day that would be an achievement because just cutting down is good. </p>
